The Take Care Series
A series for staying steady when it matters most. Explore each piece for reminders, practices, and stories to keep you wrapped in well-being on your creative journey.
This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal. —Toni Morrison
It’s no accident that our Take Care Series is available on the same day many of us eagerly await America's fate. While this series has nothing to do with the election—or the talking heads who will inevitably discuss it ad nauseam—it is a reminder that when things get hard, taking care of ourselves is job one.
This series is for survivors, storytellers, and survivors with a story to tell. Inspired by the one-year anniversary of Tiff’s book, Pack Light, where she shares, through poetry and prose, the stories she kept inside for decades.
While we’ve bundled the Take Care Series and delivered it to your virtual doorstep, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all toolkit—it’s an offering of support for anyone processing big feelings right now and beyond.

As we pull stories from deep within, we connect with parts of ourselves that deserve care and patience. Let this series be a gentle reminder: as you create, honor your limits, listen to what your body needs, and reach out if things feel heavy. Healing doesn’t have to mean going it alone—and neither does creativity.
We love y’all.
